Welcome to a new Fall semester! I hope y'all are doing well! We don't have an official website for TWLOHA-VCU, yet, so this blog is a way of keeping y'all updated and so we can have feedback! This Fall will be the first time TWLOHA-VCU has been put into action and so I really hope to see/meet y'all at meetings. Check out the TWLOHA-VCU Facebook Page!
Our official TWLOHA-VCU mission statement:
TWLOHA-VCU is dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA-VCU exists to inspire, encourage and invest directly into treatment both locally and around the world. By building community, we believe TWLOHA-VCU can organized gatherings, cultivate awareness, and create a network that actively raises funds and reaches people with a message of hope and help for those who are hurting.
Soon to come: Our first meeting time and date and place! An introduction to our TWLOHA-VCU team! And much much more :).
